Jack Tsui – Founder
A seasoned veteran in the travel industry and Hawaii regional market, Jack Tsui brings over two decades of experience, knowledge and a vast network of relationships with travel industry leaders to Get2Hawaii ®. In co-founding and launching Panda Group in 1978, Mr. Tsui accurately predicted the far-flung implications of the government’s deregulation of the U.S. airlines industry by establishing the largest wholesale travel company in Hawaii.
Since the inception of Panda Group, Mr. Tsui has been instrumental in building the relationships between suppliers, wholesalers, retailers and other travel buyers. Today, Panda Group under Mr. Tsui includes: Pan Tours, which provides wholesale travel inventory to over 1,000 travel agencies, Panda Travel ®, Hawaii’s largest travel agency, as well as Pali Tours and Travel.
Lydia Tsui – Chair
Lydia Tsui has more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry and property investment, management, and development. In 1980 she and her brother, Jack Tsui, started Panda Travel ®, which is recognized as the largest wholesale travel company in Hawaii in sales, volume and market share. The company has grown from its humble beginnings in a 100 square foot office, to a multi-million dollar annual sales business.
Prior to starting Panda Travel ®, Ms. Tsui was a very successful property investor, manager and developer – a career that she still maintains today. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting in 1975 from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She was one of six individuals to receive the 2001 Distinguished Alumni Awards by the University of Hawaii Alumni Association.
Ms. Tsui generated more than $100,000 for various community organizations, including the Hurricane Iniki Relief Fund and the McKinley High School Scholarship Fund. She served on the police commission and assisted in initiating neighborhood watch programs. In January 2003, she was appointed to the Travel Agency Advisory Committee of the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
Nancy Tsui is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Panda Travel ®. Ms. Tsui studied Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaii at Manoa before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Chaminade University in 1994, majoring in psychology with a minor in hospitality management. She received academic recognition as a Distinguished Alumna in 1998.
Prior to starting her employment at Panda Travel ®, Ms. Tsui worked with the Federal Government in the departments of Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, and Military Airlift Command.
Daisy Tsui Komeiji
Daisy Tsui Komeiji is the Senior Vice President/Assistant General Manager of Panda Travel ®. She oversees the Wholesale Department, the Japan market, and the University of Hawaii (UH) Athletics Department, and is responsible for developing sports travel packages for the UH sports fans.
Mrs. Komeiji received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1986. Prior to her current role, she worked in different areas of the travel business. She has served on several committees to fundraise for the University of Hawaii athletics. Mrs. Komeiji was the 1999 recipient of the Charlie Ushijima Rainbow Service Award, which is awarded to volunteers who have given their support unselfishly to further advance the University of Hawaii Rainbow Athletic Program and whose efforts helped the University’s athletes reach their goals.
